MIG Detroit/Nevada/Gulf Coast

MIG Detroit is a comprehensive Construction Management and General Contracting firm headquartered in Detroit that also operates offices in Las Vegas and the Gulf Coast.  MIG was the general contractor for the Motor City Casino development, which was the largest awarded construction contract ever given to a 100% minority owned contractor (MIG) in the entertainment/gaming sector by a private investor in the United States.

CHALLENGE:
To strengthen and enhance MIG’s market share in Michigan, and extend that success to operations in Las Vegas to expand business opportunities in Nevada.

STRATEGY:
Create awareness of MIG targeted to construction users in the gaming and hospitality industry, and convey that MIG is the only minority-owned company with expertise in the gaming/hospitality industry. Our objectives included securing business profiles in trade publications, and business media outlets in Detroit and Las Vegas.

RESULTS:
